Upconversion and Downconversion
The Windfreak MixNV is an RF Mixer with built-in PLL based local oscillator. This allows a very small, highly integrated device to up-convert or down-convert RF signals. Images and LO leakage will be present, so typical frequency conversion design rules apply. External filters and amplifiers may be needed.
If wider frequency ranges are needed, all of Windfreak’s products would work well as an LO driving a 3rd party mixer.
